Vantaggi

Some cool people Clean/spacious Free dinners Monthly social events

Svantaggi

Your soul will wither and then you will wonder if it is even there at all. Time will speed up unbeknownst to you, and you will wonder how that happened. If you want to live life for "benefits" and a paycheck, then this will do. But if you want true benefits, to retain your mental sanity and creativity, to do work that is valuable to you, it's not here. The writer Willa Cather puts it much better: "Consequently I live just about as much during the day as a trapeze performer does when he is on the bars — it’s catch the right bar at the right minute, or into the net you go. I feel all the time so dispossessed and bereft of myself. My mind is off doing trapeze work all day long and only comes back to me when it is dog tired and wants to creep into my body and sleep."

Vantaggi

Individual relationships are strong The office is inviting and the layout creates a sense of openness that encourages collaboration

Svantaggi

Burnout is the norm here. You’re either pushing yourself past the limit or risk being seen as not working hard enough. There isn’t much mentorship, and you’re often expected to churn out ideas without real guidance. The open floor plan suggests collaboration, but the culture doesn’t really back that up. Leadership is overbearing at times, which makes the environment uncomfortable. Growth for women is especially tough, and the turnover rate reflects that. Overall, management is disorganized and quick to lose their temper, which trickles down to the rest of the team. Don’t say anything about it though, that really won’t turn out well.
