Vantaggi

- Good on resume - Competitive pay compared to other traditional larger banks but not even that impressive - Great gym at the HQ but who cares about that when there are a million more cons.

Svantaggi

- Management has lost the plot. The red tape and slow technology make meaningful impact nearly impossible. - Management also seems to be miserable and hate their lives and are all old and therefor old schooled and frankly quite useless. My manager couldn't even do a vlookup, I was shocked. - Incredibly mean and vindictive senior management. Given my incompetent manager I have had to deliver every single high impact program and still she has been nothing but vindictive and an absolute bully. - Good for the first couple years to learn corporate America, but the culture hasn't kept up with the times — 5-day RTO, zero flexibility, and rigid senior leadership. As they say, tone comes from the top. If you align with Jamie Dimon's philosophy on how work should be, you'll fit right in. If not, just know what you're signing up for. - 401k matching is an absolute joke. They don't match you for your first year of service. Once they start matching, it vests only after 2 years. Also if you make over 350k they don't match your 401k at all. Don't get me wrong 350k is a lot of money but in NYC that doesn't get you incredibly far. - Speaking of how cheap they are, they make you pay $35 for a headshot unless you're an investment banker. Make that make sense. This kind of cheap culture trickles down in every aspect from the cafeteria (you have to pay for the fruit out in the pantry), the 401k match, health insurance, etc.
