Vantaggi
Travel benefits for JSX kick in at 3 months, everyone else (except American because the CEO is petty) at 3 months. Flying on JSX is fun but our locations are super limited. Basically nothing in the Midwest and east coast only has flights between white plains and Florida. Sense of trauma bonding amongst employees, we all suffer together and become real friends. Dallas office is cool in theory as it is a hangar but in actuality is overcrowded and there are barely any places with privacy.

1: awful pay. You’ll hear it from everyone. They’re lucky to get away with it because people are obsessed with aviation. 2: to add insult to injury, the healthcare benefits are HORRENDOUS and so expensive. Only HDHP plans available. You pay the premium every paycheck and then are hit with thousand dollar plus bills after receiving routine service. 3: very much operates like a startup even though the company has been around for 9 years. So many antiquated processes and the mentality of “we’ve always done it that way, so…” 4: leadership (below c-suite) cannot make up their minds. We basically throw spaghetti against the wall and see what sticks. It’s exhausting to try and keep up and constantly pivot. 5: it takes forever to implement real change. Too many hoops to jump through and if the leader isn’t 10000% onboard, it’s intentionally delayed. 6: inconsistent WFH expectations based on favoritism. Office amenities are limited to premium snacks and overpriced food trucks. 7: small PTO allotment and antiquated accrual process to take it
