The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Managers create their little empires and spend most of their time preserving their power. Some managers are rude and abusive to employees. Company culture discourages sharing of knowledge, teamwork and innovation in general. Managers micromanage employees to a huge degree. Managers are feared and most employees do not feel comfortable giving their opinion or disagreeing.
