I work on the front-end team that works directly on Jet.com. Like any workplace, it is what you make of it. Some pros:
1. There are lots of systems to explore when working for a large company on a high-traffic website. More learning opportunities.
2. General openness to tech & process improvements of any kind.
3. Biannual(?) hackathons, where you can work on any cool tech project, Jet-related or not.
4. Awesome teammates.

The commute from Queens to Hoboken isn't great. However, I may just move to Jersey City one of these days.

Thanks for the review, I have to agree with the pros you listed. I always look forward to seeing the great ideas that come out of the Hackathons. Thanks again for the feedback, keep it coming. John T., SVP Engineering
The culture was awesome, with one rule (Be Nice) I loved Jet. We kicked some major #$^^ so much so that Walmart bought us and killed us. We had fun, it was like working at an all night rave music and dancing while we worked. hard to describe, you had to be there.

the pay wasn't the best but the benefits more than made up for it. The insurance was fantastic, the fun we had at work was enough to make up for the lack of pay.
