8yIt sounds like overall your experience was positive, you learned how to be a professional, and were able to build that resume. That's awesome! We love giving our JetHeads the empowerment to help the customer and do the right thing. We’re glad you recognized that there are growth options; growth comes in all sorts of ways: position, experience, and stretch assignments.
It’s true! We were acquired by Walmart in September 2016 and integrating into a new company can be a lot to take in. Honestly, at the end of the day, being acquired by Walmart has provided stability and fueled Jet forward into a new innovative strategy. It sounds like you had a few bad experiences where your trust was broken and I’m sorry to hear that. We pride ourselves on being a workplace that can allow you to come and speak with anyone in management about any issue without fear of retaliation for those thoughts. We want people to be able to do this in the future so if you feel like part of the process is broken please feel free to reach out with ideas.
Unfortunately, we are not able to disclose reasons why certain individuals leave the company. People can leave for all sorts of reasons: new opportunities, relocation, life changes, and even performance issues. However, we make sure to give every opportunity to the individual so they can address these correctable issues.
Our benefits have changed over the years, as they can with all companies. With any new benefit plan there is give and take. While we may have changed some benefits from our plans, they are still very competitive in the marketplace. Overall though, we think our new benefits are a WIN- WIN! Benefits associates now have access to that they didn’t have before are things like: bonuses, higher PTO accruals based on tenure, associate stock purchase plans, 401 k match, Walmart discounts, and the list continues.
