Management is a joke and they don't take themselves or any of their employees seriously. It's like someone gave the kids the keys and told them to behave, but they made it into a frat house instead. The two people "in charge" (CEO & CCO) are 20-somethings who were given family money and started a company. Neither of them had any experience in Marketing/Events and were just blindly guessing at what to do next. The only actually experienced person here is the "Owner" who actually has many years of experience in the industry and has worked at, started, and sold agencies in the past. I'm not sure how he's been so successful though because his tactics are questionable at best, and it doesn't help anyway, because he pretty much lets the other two have control of everything. He only steps in once things get to be really too much for everyone. They also don't have any idea of what's appropriate and there was more than one occasion where they created uncomfortable situations for their employees. Also, I had a serious problem with the way they sold in accounts. They would tell a client whatever low number they wanted to hear (a non-plausible amount for the project) and then charge them incremental money throughout the entire campaign and blame it on random things. If they weren't charging incremental because the client refused to give more money it was on the team to try and cut corners, which of course came back to bite us again and again while I was there. Also, they claim to be flexible but they are NOT. More than once I was pulled to the side and asked to stay after 5 because "it looked good" even though the office hours were 9-5. I had to be constantly available, and even on days I took off they would call/email me until I answered. They also were not ever happy about needing to work from home for any reason, and were strict with WFH days (this was before COVID). The only flexible schedules were that of the Owner, CEO & CCO. Some days one or more of them just wouldn't show up, or would show up late and leave early while we were stuck for 8+ hours doing our work and their work. I'll stop here even though I could probably write a novel about my time here. Just know that overall, I would AVOID this place. While I was there, I ended up with an insane amount of work piled on in an office environment where at least 1/2 (usually more) of the people were miserable at any given moment, including me.
