Apartment is nice and spacious and all utilities are included. Campus is small, quiet, and attractive. Foreign teachers are friendly and professional. HR Department is helpful. Some language major students are hardworking. The Global Village building is unique and has good teaching facilities. The campus is next to a light rail stop and near Jingyuetan National Park which is very pretty. The canteens have a good selection of food.

This school will kill you with paperwork. You will spend countless hours filling out hundreds of pages of unnecessary forms and the management will look hard for any mistakes-especially the language department. Management will look hard for problems and seems to love criticizing teachers. It is tense checking wechat because you feel another negative message will be posted to the teaching group. Teachers were even told not to talk to students during breaks except about class related activities and they were criticized for desks being slightly out of place after a class ended. There is a demo class where several Chinese teachers will watch your class and give you written criticism without talking to you directly as if they want to get you in trouble. Additionally, 90% of the business majors have little interest in studying and it is very discouraging and mentally draining teaching them. This is easily the worst and strictest school I have ever taught at.
