I started out as an marketing and sales intern at Jinfonet Software in 2014. I quickly got to know everyone in the company, and to appreciate the family-feel of the company. It is great when you can find a company that seems to actually care about you and where you want your career to go, especially as I was only an intern. After graduating, I moved to Maryland and worked full-time as a Marketing Coordinator, and then as a Marketing Manager. In total, I was at Jinfonet for about a year and a half. I ended up leaving the company because I missed my hometown - Seattle. I would definitely recommend working for Jinfonet. As far as I could tell, they make you feel like you are a part of the family and every person's role is important. It is important to note you could walk a few feet and talk to the CEO or VP of Sales, whose doors were always open. I like to collaborate with a larger team and learn from others, and the marketing team at Jinfonet was rather small, only three people including me. In addition, there were not as many young people. Some salespeople were in their late 20s or early 30s, but the majority of employees were older than that.
