It was not clear before the hiring that Salary payment will be via a Payroll company and that it will be weekly, not monthly. This messed a bit with my budget planning and it took me until almost the end of my contract to balance that well. This is maybe a personal thing but I did not like getting paid weekly. It was also not clear that I would be on a zero-hour contract even though the company that hired me through Jobboost wanted me fulltime (I did work fulltime, but on a zero hour contract).
