However, I found that at times, this mission was prioritised to the extent that the needs and well-being of employees were overlooked. While many leadership decisions were made with good intentions and often had a solid foundation, there were challenges in execution and follow-through. This occasionally led to a disconnect between what was planned and what was actually achieved, which could be frustrating.
It's worth acknowledging that in a fast-paced environment with so much happening, it's natural for some things to fall through the cracks. However, there were moments where it felt like too many priorities were being juggled, and this impacted overall efficiency and accountability. Given the relatively young team, some of these challenges may simply reflect natural growing pains, and I am optimistic that they have addressed many of these issues over time.

While this can foster a strong and supportive culture, there have been instances where difficult decisions, such as retrenchments (not due to funding shortages), have affected even the most loyal employees when deemed necessary.
