Svantaggi
This month (July 2025), the company laid off a significant portion of the organization across multiple departments, affecting people at all levels. In the past year, there has also been turnover in senior leadership. The CEO was notoriously difficult to work with, more so than any other company I have ever worked for. In my experience, he had poor vision and direction for the company, ignoring the advice of his experienced leadership team and hyper-fixating on things that were not important to the company's success. If you cared about your work, you might find yourself frustrated with the poor CEO leadership. Without the talent that was recently let go, I am not optimistic about the organization's future. I found morale among colleagues to be especially low. The company was very stingy when it came to travel accommodations. The company retreats and work trips I went on felt like they were always booked as cheaply as possible, in lower-end hotels / AirBNBs, with the cheapest flights, and providing unrealistically low reimbursement stipends. Overall I would not recommend this place. I know the job market is tough now. If you are currently employed by another company and you are considering leaving your current job for a position at Jobscan, I would strongly caution against doing that. However, if you are currently unemployed and considering a position at Jobscan, it is better than being unemployed.
