JCI has very strong manufacturing processes and quality systems in place on a global scale. It is a great place to learn how establish a Fortune 100 company with processes and procedures in place so that anyone can come in and do the job. Great training ground for your career to move on to other companies and excel.

Svantaggi

The pay is very low and your life is consumed by the job. There is really no balance. There is a reason that JCI recruits college grads very heavily to handle the automotive scheduling jobs. They need the young energy and willingness for lower pay.

Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
