Literally look at the managers as a version of babus in any government offices. These managers are unskilled, toxic in the use of language and vocabulary. Software Development standards followed are poor. No system design process is ever followed. Eventually systems that are designed using such methods fail. The only critical piece IEC values is delivery on time. Try to look at Delivery manager 's as sales agents who have no clue of programming or software design .
