Outstanding leadership performance by Power Solutions and Johnson Controls corporate management. Great vision and strategic planning (Hybrid batteries strategy, production footprint). Senior management is very experienced and skilled, yet approachable. Great employee morale in Power Solutions headquarter. Regular employee feedback.

      Management is very demanding. Frequent overtime work and weekend. Quick turnaround time is always required. Johnson Controls has a history of production footprint changes to be best-in-class and the lowest cost producer. In certain areas Johnson Controls is using outdated IT systems..

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
