      -They give you opportunities to grow by gaining experience in projects relatively quickly, that would be otherwise difficult to get in most other companies -Gain experience and skills quickly in an exciting industry -Very little bureaucracy and office politics -They treat employees as real people and are extremely friendly and understanding people. Not a lifeless corporation -They hire smart people who are also fun to be around, they like to have a good time while working and be generally likeable humans to each other -Easily accessible by metro -Relative freedom given to you to choose what you want to work on, which is rare when you are starting out at other companies -Fun company outings and extra curricular activities at work

      -Starting compensation is a bit below industry average, I expect that will change with time as the company grows more -Sometimes, they provide the low-fat cream cheese for company meetings instead of the full-fat version. I stand in solidarity with full-fat cream cheese

      Point taken on the compensation front. We've already taken steps to increase compensation and will continue to do so as we grow. And... we splurge on the full-fat cream cheese now too ;) -Tamaryn de Kock

      Good place to start off your career to dip your toes in the professional world. Management does try to focus on your personal development and listens to what you are trying to improve.

      1. The environment is very cliquey, and you can definitely feel excluded from certain groups at times / get the cold shoulder from certain people. 2. It also is an extremely casual environment, and while there are some benefits to this, it's important to remember that this is a workplace and some of the interactions can be perceived as inappropriate. 3. As a business analyst, the majority of your work is essentially customer service.

We strive to give each staff member a positive experience during their time at Jonar so it saddens us to hear this may not have been the case for you. Our goal is always for each new staff member to feel included and part of the overall Jonar team.
