Vantaggi

-Ok with being remote -Competitive Salaries -Nice benefits

Svantaggi

-Really strange culture perpetuated by leadership. I sat in a Zoom meeting while the GCD fired someone for what they perceived to be "talking back". Same GCD constantly gaslights and expects you to mind read. Everyone's cutthroat but...really doesn't need to be, for godsake we're going CPG. -The new ECD is...sort of a hack? No interpersonal skills, overall the teams dislike them as they're obsessed with getting awards and publicity. -New leadership hires were also hacks and were fired for incompetence; not sure how they squeezed through but JKR could use a real reset. Very old school in their creative process; not sure if that's from the UK or what, but can be stifling if you don't fit into their singular mold of doing things. -Little to no mentorship.

Vantaggi

- One of the top design studios in NYC/Globally. - Work with major global brands. - Led by industry leading talent.

Svantaggi

- High turnover (likely because of intensive work hours and work dynamic) - Slow project dynamic (1 branding project could take years to be done) - Studio's emphasis is on creative department, not equally across other departments (account, Strat, etc)

Vantaggi

- Exposure to Major Brands: You’ll get to work with some of the biggest brands in the industry—great for your portfolio and career growth. - Exceptionally Talented Team: Designers and creative specialists are top-notch. - Strong Industry Reputation: Lots of awards and industry notoriety—especially if you're on the right projects.

Svantaggi

- Poor Work-Life Balance: Expect long hours and little personal time. The culture subtly encourages work obsession, and burnout is real. - HR Prioritizes Optics: As other reviews have pointed out, the HR team often seems more focused on protecting the company's image than addressing employee concerns. - Cliquey Culture: The work environment can feel exclusive or political, especially if you’re not part of Design or the Account teams. - Lack of Process: Project Management is expected to drive the work, yet are often overlooked & undervalued. The lack of structure just compounds the chaos.
