Vantaggi
There's a lot of great, friendly people who work here, unfortunately that does not include upper management. You will be exposed to a lot of print knowledge which is pretty interesting. If you need to get some office experience to kick-start your career, it's an ok-ish job for that, just be prepared for a lot of stress. Because the company is so poorly managed, you will have lots of opportunity to respond to disasters or customer complaints, which will make great anecdotes for your future job interviews.
Svantaggi
The amount of people who were fired during my time here is worrying and says a lot about how the place is run. Management has little respect and a lot of contempt for their employees. Customers will verbally harass employees and management will ignore it and even try to cater to abusive customers at employees' expense. The customer service manager was unhelpful and clueless and often treated female employees worse than male employees. They often promised customer service representatives the opportunity to move up to prepress or other positions during interviews, but they have no intention of promoting anyone and will just hire outside of the company instead. We were often forcefully asked to do overtime to make up for understaffing issues, sometimes up to 4 hours minimum in a week, or even asked to work on weekends. Like another reviewer said, the list could go on. Management would pretend to start making changes but nothing gets solved. Pay is poor for the amount of work and responsibilities. This is a very dysfunctional and emotionally draining work environment. The free lunches and pizza parties are a distraction from the root issues.
