Vantaggi
Like others have mentioned, I worked with some of the kindest, funniest, most hard-working individuals at Jun Group. Despite the workload being hectic, you get a lot of client-facing and technical experience as a young employee.
Svantaggi
The workload for client-facing teams is unmanageable. New college grads are taken advantage of and are forced to work overtime daily (often past 10 pm) and on weekends for pay that is basically unlivable in NYC. Voicing your concerns to superiors only leads to intense micromanagement and accusations of time management issues. Members of these teams quit frequently and those who stay have to bear the additional workload with no extra compensation. After people quit, managers claim to be actively hiring for new team members yet several months go by before positions are backfilled (if they are backfilled at all). The Sales team, however, consistently gets new hires while these client-facing teams are desperately struggling to maintain the current accounts. To make matters worse, highly inflexible in-office requirements were instituted that disproportionately affected teams with higher workloads. On Thursday nights employees were pressured into attending company-sponsored happy hours or drinking in the office- a fun perk when you're not expected to execute client requests with music blasting at 4:00 PM through the office speakers. Legitimate requests to reconsider the office requirements were dismissed because "a rule is a rule".
