Review
The biggest issue at KDC/ONE, at least at the site I supported, was the culture of gossip and reactionary decision-making. Instead of having direct, professional conversations, management relied on secondhand information and assumptions, which led to unnecessary and damaging outcomes.
When I attempted to handle my transition responsibly by seeking guidance from the staffing agency, the situation was mismanaged and escalated based on hearsay rather than facts. The result was an abrupt termination the same day, with no discussion, no professionalism, and no consideration for the impact on the remaining staff.
Leadership decisions appeared to be driven more by emotion and control than logic or long-term planning. This created a stressful and unhealthy environment where employees felt disposable rather than supported.
