8yThanks for writing a review and for recommending working at KVC. We're glad you enjoy what you do transporting children in the Pittsburg, KS area! You mentioned that we need a better healthcare plan. KVC does offer a range of healthcare plans that are robust and highly competitive with other organizations. Here are a few reasons why we are proud of the healthcare plans we make available. (1 )KVC offers 3 medical plan options. Only 15% of like-size companies offer their employees 3 or more options. (2) KVC offers a $500 individual deductible medical option. Only 27% of surveyed employers
offer a medical option with less than a $500 deductible. Our insurance broker has very few employer partners still offering a $500 deductible plan option. (3) KVC contributed over $500,000 last year to reduce the cost of health insurance for its employees. (4) KVC pays the full cost for employees' dental, life/AD&D, short-term disability and long-term disability coverage. This is very unique among employers. As you mentioned, we recently increased pay for employees who provide transportation. We will continue looking for ways to make KVC a great place to work and hope you will continue being part of the team for years to come!
