decent base salary, I liked my peers, they hire good people but can't keep them...more than half have either quit or been fired, having stayed less than a year.

From Day 1 they complain about low numbers, but you're brand new. No business plan, no direction, no resources. Management by negativity. They have no qualms asking you to lie and cheat to get business. They are inept at contract negotiation with customers so even if you bring them great customers, they do not know how to get their business.
