The worst aspect of this job was interactions with the CEO who is very hands-on with every employee. She is often outwardly aggressive or derogatory particularly in emails, but when she's not being confrontational she is over the top nice, in a very insincere way. She changes her mind a lot and gives unclear direction. This really obstructs very talented workers who are trying to do amazing things. There's a lot of gossip around the office because of this and people are generally stressed and scared. The worst part is there is no HR to report any of this to. In terms of pay, I felt compensation was fair but other teams complained of low salaries and poor benefits.
