1 Executive management hardly cares, they have checked out mentally, 2 Some senior Back office management are a big bottleneck as they don’t know anything, are too defensive in trying anything, cover their backs and never ever decide in any meetings but still want to be involved 3. The operational/ Back Office side of the firm is screwed up with arcane workflow and paper processes, in that group if you work hard you ll do all the work while others ride on their proximity to the Powers that be in this group With the new tech manager things may happen but the oldies will drive him crazy to just bail out.
