Extreme Micromanagement - Recensione dipendente - Graphic Designer presso Kearney

I joined Kearney in the Creative Services team. I survived there for 20 days, then I had to quit. The work culture in that team is so bad; the managers are control freaks beyond imagination. They will put a timer on your lunch break and even your washroom break. You can't eat at your desk in peace, you can't take your time in the washroom you always have to keep looking at the time on your phone because they only grant you 10 minutes, and it has to be exactly 10 minutes. If you go to 11 minutes, they will make weird faces at you as if you’ve committed a crime. They treat you like they own your life. Without their permission, you can’t do anything. The micromanagement is so extreme it seriously impacts your mental health. I don’t know about the culture in other departments, but in the Creative team, it’s the worst I have ever experienced in my life. They run on a Team Leader concept, where one TL will sit on your head and pressure you all the time. The company shift is so long you start to feel like a zombie.
