This is a company that truly cares about their employees. They gave me every tool I needed to be successful and then some, both with technology (Laptop / iPad / etc) and with training that is comprehensive and keeps up with changing business climates. Management is very accessible to all employees, and actually listened to my concerns. Also, the company culture is the best I have ever experienced. By the time I left to pursue higher education, I had made lifelong friends. As a salesman, this job has been the best job I have ever had and the decision to leave was difficult. I also like that it is a locally owned Birmingham company, and the owner Thomas is in the office everyday and really made sure that the service I was selling lived up to expectations. The work life balance is great, and I rarely ever had to take my work home with me outside of business hours. I also found that the expectations set for sales were very realistic and attainable, with a killer commission policy. It is very easy to make a lot of money in this role if you are a good at sales, willing to learn, and a hard worker.

Coronavirus changed a lot of things about how I was able to get in touch with prospective customers, and shifted my role from being purely outside sales to becoming a hybrid of outside sales and inside sales. I personally do not like inside sales very much, so I did not enjoy that aspect of it. However, management did everything they could to make the changes as easy as possible for us, and at the time that I left, things were beginning to return to normal.
