Culture was always an issue. Lip service paid to culture but things never really changed. Old-school managers gradually forced out but it really didn't change things. Those attitudes became more subtle, but they didn't disappear. Work-life balance was non-existent. Long hours, rotating shifts and requirement for weekend coverage. A lot of pressure and many people didn't handle it well.
