Job I applied for was a chat tech job, after getting hired you find out it’s actually phones. I never wanted to work phones. I only applied to chat jobs. Everyone in my class was also upset they applied for chat and tested for chat when we applied, but still got put on phones. Not enough training before throwing you on the floor. Mentor was helpful, but he spoke to us like we were toddlers. Very condescending. They make you be in camera all through training and nesting., and they said there will be more cameras in production as well. They claim this isn’t apples rule, not theirs. It’s a bit intrusive to be videoed all day in your own house and it’s very distracting. It’s hard to focus on the modules and learn the tools while in camera. In a real classroom setting we would not all be facing each-other and watching each-other like what happens in a virtual setting where everyone is staring at their screen.
