Vantaggi
Plenty of hours available if you want to work more
Svantaggi
1. High-stress call types. B2B calls and very stressful situations like 911 or emergency cases. Both patients and professionals sometimes vent their frustration at you, and you end up absorbing a lot of negative emotions 2. no benefits. no career path. 3. System lockouts that reduce your pay: they keep understaffing (b2b calls) and ask you to work more hours. but the silly thing is , their systems sometimes locks you out if there are too many interpreters logged in at the same time?? And instead of fixing the issue, they deduct your hours as if it’s somehow your fault. They expect you to just sit there, trying to log in every 15 minutes like a robot. And everything after that? Unpaid. Then, when you finally manage to log in again, you discover that your hours have been deducted anyway. You email them to add back the salary for the missing hours, and they take weeks to reply before paying you. Honestly, it feels like they only respond when you're asking to take more shifts, not when you're asking for the money you've already earned. So tell me—how are we supposed to be committed to the company when the pay isn’t even on time, and we have to chase again and again the money we already earned because of their own system issue? It’s simply not fair.
