The engineering and product orgs as of late are a disaster. The engineering org has been redone multiple times this summer due to high turnover and inability to ship substantial features. The engineering team is drowning in technical debt and engineering management does little to fix it or help you fix it. This is largely driven by the product team being all over the map in terms of priorities. Don't be surprised if your priorities change 2 times a week. Substantial features can't be shipped because most bugs/broken features are ignored and we are told to keep shipping new features. Most of the people who knew how everything worked are now gone. Organizationally people's pay was cut and raises were not given this year. Company promises transparency and holds trust to be a core value, but you can't have trust when you tell everyone they can't have raises this year and turn around to hand them out to your favorite people. We were told we would get backpay once salaries were restored, but when that happened the CEO chuckled at the idea.
