To add to the echo chamber; corporate and HR. Our housekeeping team turned our reviews around from a low 70s to a low 90s % satisfaction and corporates response was to write me up for a hair clip. That's just one example. Policy changes being handed down are obviously being made by people who have zero idea of what the jobs they're changing actually entail. They have a hard time holding on to good workers because they are ignored and paid scant peanuts while being expected to do more, faster, better. Also the guests that stay in my particular hotel (Casa Monica) are generally overly entitled jerks who expect you to slave away for nothing. Lines of communication barely exist except for when you've messed up. Good work goes unacknowledged.

I was hired at almost 2 dollars less than the people that were hired a week before and a week after me. Evem with 5 plus years in hospitality. Within 3 days I was degraded in front of a guest. So bad that they wrote about their experience. Nothing was done. After a meeting with H. R the person who actually did the degradation try to retaliate against me. And said that I threatened and made them feel unsafe.. you can try to pull the anger man card. So after checking cameras and doing their investigation, I'm still employed. I still work with this person. I don't feel safe because this person has lied on my name. Once and I'm sure we'll do it again. How is this allowed to happen with HR? And all the established rules and regulations
