It is truly a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing place to work. The guests are classy but still down to earth - only some are hard to please. I got to work alone which I loved, but even though I always worked independently I still got to know a handful of pretty awesome coworkers from every department. I always stock and clean up for the next person, but it really sucks coming in at 5:30 in the morning to a mess left from last night. In-room dining was monotonous, the entire 9 hours I sat in a chair and wondered what my purpose in life even was. I know it's hard to gauge how many room deliveries there will be a day, but if I'm getting 0-3 orders during a 9 hour shift every day for a month, why would I want to stay there? I thinks its completely unnecessary to have anyone there from 11-4. At orientation one of the companies selling points to employees was that they frequently promote within.
