*Shift work
*Mechanical work is easy--just repairing simple(ish) drills
*Lots of downtime (easily between 2 and 6 hours a night)
*Free access to computers in work are
*Relaxed, laid back atmosphere
*Work on-site at Boeing
*Management will work with you if you need a day off and don't have vacation time
Svantaggi
*No overtime
*No opportunities for advancement
*Raises are terrible--$0.25 a year is good
*Cannot start higher than $14.00/hr
*Minimal to no chance of being hired on by Boeing. In the past there was a good opportunity for being hired on, but no longer. Boeing began hiring many of KLS' good employees and noticing that KLS had lower quality work being produced becuase they were losing their 'all stars'. Therefore, Boeing wisened up and decided not to hire KLS employees as often. It is now rare (maybe once every two years).
*No vacation for first year of full-time employment. After first year you accrue one week of vacation.
*Insurances are sub-par and a little expensive.
