Vantaggi
*Friendly staff - I’ve worked at KM for quite a few years and interacted with most people across the company globally and in my opinion, KM has a fantastic track record of hiring nice people. Sydney is the nicest office of course (I’m slightly biased) *Opportunities - I’ve been fortunate to move through several roles and promotions and seen other colleagues do the same. The company is both big enough to offer opportunities and small enough that promotions, inter-department moves and new projects can be implemented with minimal fuss * Challenging in a good way - this is somewhere you hit the ground running. Even junior journalists and event staff are given responsibility straight away, working on publications and events that lead in their respective markets, making this company a fantastic training ground * Earn the right to have input - if you work hard and prove yourself, you will find your ideas and suggestions are listened to. KM isn’t big on hierarchy and anyone can approach senior management with constructive feedback and ideas
Svantaggi
KM is a business growing in a challenging industry so there are bound to be some hiccups. *Working in a global environment can make communication tricky but this has been acknowledged and is a work in progress *As with all small to medium businesses this isn’t a big-budget place with loads of filler staff. Depending on your role you might have a lot on your plate workload wise. Having said that, most people can expect to do 9-5 with no issues.
