Not a place I would recommend working. Growth opportunities are extremely limited unless you commit long-term into a very specific career track like becoming a pedorthist, and even then progression feels slow and restrictive. There is a clear mismatch between the company’s messaging around care and employee support and the actual day-to-day experience. Hard work doesn’t feel recognized, and compensation does not reflect effort or workload. Management is inconsistent and often disorganized, which leads to confusion, lack of direction, and a generally frustrating work environment.

Wage is low for the education some management require. High turnaround in other departments. Doesnt seem like they want long term employees.

Coworkers are typically amazing, likeminded and friendly. The product stock and selection is great. Lots of education opportunities. Career advancement if you have an interest in the field. Pay is decent for what is essentially a retail sales position. Extremely flexible management.

Customer base can be quite frustrating and hands on. This is because of how the company advertises itself. The company has a booking system that is meant to make the store feel “exclusive” and “professional”, in reality it is just a relic of covid that is now serving simply marketing purposes. This booking system almost always leads customers to believing they are booking in to see a professional, when in reality they are simply booking in to see a university student who is trained to push product. As i stated in the pros, the education they give you during training is quite nice, but, immediately after training you realize that all of that education somewhat goes out of the window because now you have sales goals and quotas to meet, so now you have to start using that “education” to lead people to believe they need product that they probably don't need. The worst aspect of the job is having to “sell” to people who are coming to you in their time of need.
