Also, if you move here, you are at higher risk. There are only 4 large employers in town - Koch, Spirit, Textron, and Cargill. This is bad for your salary growth (why do they need to give you any raises or bonuses - where are you going to go?), and bad for alternative employment options. You'll have to be ok with moving out. Keep a 6-month emergency fund at all times. Koch tends to move folks up and out, and a change in your supervisor could be the difference between a great job and your exit. If I could do it over, I would not have moved here. I would opt for larger city.
