Total chaos. It’s a sinking ship that can not be saved even by Sephora or Kids R Us. Returns are a nightmare with the new queue line. No payroll so there’s only 1 to 2 people running the registers and 2 to 3 people running all the other departments so nothing gets done because they’re constantly being called to the register. Everyone is stressed out. It’s always hot in there and customers and associates are always sweaty. They send customers 40% off coupon that doesn’t work on anything (except Kohls brands) and we’re the ones that have to put up with the crazy and angry customers. Amazon is another nightmare. It doesn’t ever stop and it takes up a good portion of the stockroom. I can go on and but there’s no point.

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
