Vantaggi
Some of the best people I've ever met in my life. There's a part in my heart where I'll always call them family, since they've contributed so much to my personality and intellect by providing me experiences to grow as a person that I'll carry through my whole life. Their strongest quality is definitely the people they hire and how close the entire company is. They hire world class people who are some of the most talented and smartest people I'll ever interact with. The culture is also amazing (but this is a blessing and a curse, as you'll see in my cons). Easily the best office I've ever seen, with tall ceilings, wooden decor and walls, a very open space environment, lots of plants, a huge cafeteria, fun video games with multiple consoles, VR headsets, and an arsenal of board games to choose from, with monthly parties, cocktail & trivia nights, and more.
Svantaggi
The evil but smart plan to keep cheap employees: 1. Hire people straight from school 2. Work them to the bone with horrible hours (9am-6pm with unpaid overtime, no flex hours, or work from home) 3. Never offer competitive salaries that are relevant to the industry (but offer 2 mini raises a year to overshadow this) 4. Have an amazing culture to cover up bad hours and salary, with no HR department (over 200 employees btw) 5. Wait it out to see if you stay (since you've invested so much into this company) and if you leave, they'll hire someone out of school to rinse and repeat. (5.1 Former employee writes bad review and they write a fake one to cover it up) The entire company has been screaming for relevant industry hours/pay and an HR department for years, yet nothing happens. I've seen people need better hours to take care of their children, people that need the pay to support their family and be the main provider, and a co worker harassed by another with no one to go to. All problems experienced by regular people who need regular needs.
