The Operations department is incompetent and intransigent, while HR is uncivilized and unethical. Trade Finance is a major business here, yet no one has any knowledge on it, be it Business or TF Operations. The ARMs are ignorant, yet arrogant. Expats from head office are here for a 3-year tour. No one is willing to make any meaningful changes. The mindset is that if the virus is not immediately fatal, it should left alone for the next expat. The more anyone wants to do the right thing, the faster that person will eventually burn out.
