Dont even think about working in this country! A little bit about Kuwait: Besides the worst weather in the world (140 degrees F, dust storms, steam-bath humidity, no greenery, no life, no real water source), the country size is smaller than a city... so no where to go other than shopping or work. Unless you make really good money, and have the highest level of tolerance possible.. it is a legal slavery. The Kuwaitis are too proud, arrogant, highly discriminating and corrupt people. If you cant speak arabic, you are a deaf dumb animal. You'll hear a few phrases repeatedly in a normal day.. "Im Kuwaiti" "Only for Kuwaitis" Kuwait Airways is not a company... its an orphanage for mentaly challenged Kuwaitis and a slave prison of non-Kuwaitis. No rights, no promotions, no salary, all perks are only for Kuwaitis, and your 'Kuwaiti colleague' does not need to come to work most of the days, and you HAVE to officially cover up for it. A young Kuwaiti school boy would show up to you any random day, and you'd be told to train him. Once he is potty trained, he gets 2 ranks, grades, stripes higher than you and officiates as your manager. If i knew, i'd rather be jobless.
