Vantaggi
the one pro is that your work colleagues come together in collective hate for the company.
Svantaggi
everything - Avoid this place like the plague, you have been warned. former employee as part of the laughable "graduate scheme" (please note other graduate reviews were done by employees asked on the spot to write a review". Within my 1 year there, the site was influenced by the delusional far removed chief management who have no clue and do not care at all about the workforces happiness and safety - basically sociopathic. There were multiple times whereby injury was caused to staff because the safety on site is so bad and the upper management would move swiftly to fire said employees so that they could not claim sick pay or complain (a large majority of the workforce are not native and do not particularly know there rights). If anyone would speak out regarding safety practices they would most likely be fired until someone shuts up enough to do the unsafe work. Management regularly cull the staff moving from season to season and have the graduates try to do impossible tasks with a massive lack of staff and resources. In the space of 1 year, out of the 9 production graduates 7 have left with the 2 remaining being the two newest graduates unknowing of what they have gotten themselves into. This level of staff turnover speaks volumes to how badly this company is run morally, in addition I would say half of the floor staff left from when I started, I know this as they had me acting as the recruitment manager as HR is non existent as it acts from the Philippines!. Hence forget any correctly done HR procedures - if things get out of hand the company contacts some unknown HR person from the UK who acts solely for the company and staff cannot speak to. If you work on site you will not have any designated roles and will do random mundane tasks such as timing staff members which is archaic and taking post to your sociopathic, small-man syndrome boss. Furthermore you will be asked to complete impossible tasks which are always poised to the graduates (which if they had any real solution would of been done 5 years ago), such as increase production numbers with far lower staff or remove things from site. I was able to remove the majority of waste from site after management finally agreed to scrap most items, yet any items that can only be removed via payment are shunned and the grad who so ever try's this method will be persecuted (e.g there is a mound of roofing felt which will never be removed from site as its worthless and needs to be paid for yet management will ask again and again why you have not solved this task. Ultimately, every member of staff on site is miserable and the chief management are rarely on site for fear of their own skin- TAKE MY WORD! - they treat staff like dogs. Finally, The products they make are unbelievably poor which is evident if you look a tiny bit deeper past the fake reviews on trust pilot.
