This company needs a complete overhaul of leadership. The leaders who have been there forever have a big fish small pond mentality that doesn’t allow them to move with the times. The environment is full of paranoia, job insecurity and inflated ego. They promote people based on tenure and a history of not pushing the envelope or criticizing poor leaders or business decisions, instead of ability, skills, or need. The new leaders are completely lost and many do not understand the utility business so are not in a position to combat the ingrown culture.
