Vantaggi
LEAP is a very energetic company. What comes with this is the agility to change direction based on the needs of the business. I have seen many reviews, good and bad, on this site, and I think it relevant to point out the timing of these reviews. Many of the negative comments appear to have been written by exiting staff as part of a right-sizing of the business around a year ago. It was a necessary thing to do back then, and I assume much of the negativity is related to those ex-staff which is a shame as its lead to personal attacks rather than broader view of the progress and rationale for this decion. As of Today LEAP is a wonderful place to work. It has a clear direction being lead and directed by all staff. Regular town hall updates are provided to encourage all of us to understand and join the journey together. This makes me feel included in the decisions and that I contribute to the joint goals. All staff whom I engage with (which is many) appear to be in a great place work-wise and personally since the positive changes were made. Many records have been broken in both sales and renewals over the last year since the addition of new leadership in the sales team, and this has been a great positive change for all. The culture created is fun with a good work ethic and very target-driven. Change is key to any business to move with the times and to make sure you are not sticking with old processes if they can be improved upon. Change is good in my opinion as long as it's done for the right reasons, which I believe it is at LEAP.
Svantaggi
Working for a privately funded business will always lead to some pros and cons for obvious reasons; however, it's why you choose private Vs PE-backed companies to work for. Ultimately, it's your choice to work here if it's right for you. Any cons mentioned in other reviews relating to the Australian global structure are simply the preference of the individual who wrote the review. LEAP is not for everyone as we are a global company and they encourage input from our global teams. It is also fast paced and changeable. For me personally, I don't see any cons at this stage and only wish LEAP the best in their endeavour to be successful
