Toxic, micromanaging atmosphere - Recensione dipendente - QA/RA Specialist presso LFH Regulatory

With a diverse range of clients from start-ups to thriving medical device companies with equally diverse medical devices, no two days are ever the same. Realistic and accurate expectations for completing assigned work, means that whilst days can be busy they are rewarding when key milestones are reached with clients. A fully inclusive company that encourages open and honest feedback, that is listened to and acted on. The management team works tirelessly to drive the business forward and maintain a prominent and active presence at/on medical device industry platforms. The company provides opportunities to develop and progress individuals according to their career aspirations. People are the heart of any business and the current staff are dynamic and hard working individuals, that collectively make the company a pleasure to be a part of.

None that I can think of that is unique to this company. Consultancy work and home working is not for everyone, as working with multiple clients requires patience and flexibility.

High workload and multiple clients to manage/work for means you gain experience working within lots of areas very quickly, such as QA, RA, Clinical and Medical Affairs.

Review: No I would not recommend working here. Negatives: You are made to take part in photo shoots, marketing materials, promotions, etc, as part of your job role. Refusal to take part, or use your LinkedIn to support the business results in being treated unfairly, or being accused of not wanting to support the business or doing your role. No work life balance. When refusing to do over time or pushing back on work due to full capacity you are accussed of not being a team player, this is may be followed up by being put on a performance review, or being questioned about your working hours (despite having approved timesheets and great feedback in annual performance reviews) and your dedication to the business and its growth. In addition to this, you are told work needs to take precedence to family life, all these points lead to a toxic working environment and micromanagement. False promises: The job description is not accurate, the description or role changes upon starting or as and when needed, even if there are now additional responsibilities you are not comfortable with, this is accompanied by no training and lack of support. Benefits such as flexible working can be removed at any time, despite promises of a work life balance and flexibility.
