      Scheduling is mostly flexible. Most patients are great.

      OASIS OASIS OASIS. As an RN this is all you. And they hound you about it. They only care about how much reimbursement they can get not really the patients. Also full time nurses have to do on call after already working full time hours in the day. The pay is per visit so have to see either a butt load of patients or do lots of oasis visits to survive.

      Autonomy, days go by quick, expectations are defined.

      Unmanageable workload/cases. Expected to fulfill number of points per week. Charting beyond business hours every day. Start of care visits also included hands on care. One visit took 3 hours because of 8 wounds and that didn’t include documentation. Oasis is tedious and comprehensive. Territory was supposed to be 10 minutes from home; it was not. Sometimes 45 minutes between each case with 5-6 cases for the day. Totally unmanageable for a seasoned and organized nurse. I cannot imagine how it would be for a less experienced nurse. Overworked and overwhelmed my entire time. I learned a lot from training modules but then you’re out on your own to troubleshoot. Unless you’re willing to hustle every single day and are willing to chart during dinner time and then still take time to confirm next day’s appointments, stay away.
