My first year and a half at LINQ has been a highly positive experience. I am part of a global development team, and despite the geographical distance and varying time zones, our remote coordination is seamless. I felt integrated into the group very quickly, and our weekly meeting schedule has always been well-managed and respectful of my time. The atmosphere is friendly and collaborative, creating a space where we can work hard while maintaining focus without too much stress. Management takes a goal-oriented approach that prioritizes results over strict hierarchy. From the beginning, I was given the autonomy to take initiative and contribute meaningfully to projects without feeling micromanaged. I also appreciate leadership's open-mindedness. They are always willing to listen when someone proposes a new idea or a process improvement. Career development is also encouraged. When one of us expresses interest in a new role or a specific product/technology/department, management listens and gives opportunities. I particularly like the company’s educational programs. We are encouraged to share which certifications we want to pursue, and LINQ provides financial support for both the learning materials and the exams. Due to the nature of the business, I have the opportunity to work hands-on with several modern technologies, including Salesforce, AWS, web scraping, and Agentic Workflows. The org chart is clear, and we receive a yearly review from our managers, with the possibility of writing our own review for our profile, to discuss possible areas of improvement. Finally, I feel that my compensation is fair and accurately reflects my workload, technical abilities, and current responsibilities.

I think that the downsides are the same as any other company with remote teams. Unless you are in the States, it's hard to meet coworkers in person.
