I mean what are we doing here? From the leadership at this top, to the game of favorites low compensation this place is a dumpster fire. The business model of saying yes, yes, yes is extremely toxic, outdated and one of these days will implode. Leadership on the Corporate and Comsumer teams needs to GO immediately. Take this free piece of advice and look at how the Beauty and Lifestyle team is run, then implement those learnings into the Corporate and Consumer team. When speaking to HR in my exit interview I was quite literally told at the time there was absolutely nothing they could do about the challenges they were facing. Trust the countless reviews for this agency and look somewhere else, you’ll save years off your life.

Where does one begin? LaForce is a company that thrives off of shadiness, mediocrity and egotistical office politics. There used to be such smart and friendly people here, who were great to work with and learn from but LaForce has a way of burning out its brightest stars and forcing them to leave. If you have an ounce of talent, avoid this place. It’s unfortunate that so many great clients have the same turnover rate as employees. Leadership literally recycles the same outdated and tired pitch decks for new and existing clients, with little to no innovation. The place reeks of ego driven management, false sense of the cultural zeitgeist, and basic professionalism just isn’t there. Remember when you actually had to have media friendlies and connections to thrive in PR? Not at LaForce! No one (junior or senior) seems to have any to save their life or clients, and it’s probably because they treat people like transactions and don’t really care for anyone as humans beyond the work we do. If you have PR connections, expect to be bombarded with favors from teams who are struggling due to their lack of connections in the industry. Leadership has a serious problem across the board and they seem to avoid any responsibility for the current state of the business which isn’t good at all. No one has time to pour into the development of skills or growth, yet they blame junior staff for just about anything. All junior employees are extremely overworked due to incompetent and lazy management and understaffed accounts. If you bring up a problem or simply even try to find a solution to help the workplace be more efficient, the expectation is that you’ll take the lead and solve it yourself. Even then, your complaint will easily put a target on your back from senior management (this is unfortunately a direct quote.)
