Vantaggi
After working at LaborMax staffing, you can handle anything else. No job will ever be as difficult as working in a high stress volume environment. The internal hiring process was quick and easy, all due to a high employee turnover rate. After working a month there as an Account Manager with little to no training, I was promoted to Branch Manager. My tasks were overwhelming and work didn't end at the office, but it was my decision and I stuck it out because my immediate staff was important to me.
Svantaggi
Poor management. Almost NO training. It's sink or swim. You must be able to not only do internal paperwork (payroll, dispatching, employee training, recruiting, and documenting), but do cold-calling and door-to-door. Some hours require you to cover times ranging from 5AM to 5PM because you're salary based as a manager. Obtaining client job filling requests can become a territorial nightmare. Appealing to the District Manager or CEO does nothing but create a dog-eat-dog world with other branches. Upper management is all about numbers, and it's reflected in their mass unprofessional daily emails. If your branch isn't producing (with no effective help from uppers) then your branch is not doing well. Received no support that actually helped, they fired the one person that gave me incentive to do my best. No actual help or encouragement, just threats and criticism.
