Founder syndrome is rampant here and impedes any good work that the organization tries to do. The founder has been Board Chair since the 90s and it does not appear he will ever give it up. His decisions affect positions even down to the lowest level. Instead of trusting the professionals who know this sector and community, he drives decisions based on a corporate mindset that rubs many internally and externally the wrong way.
