The culture at Lakeshore has changed a lot ever since Leonard Green took over, and it feels like the Kaplans have taken their hands off the company. What used to be a people first and supportive environment is now the opposite. Employee care is no longer a priority. Favoritism is obvious, and if you kiss up you get ahead. If you do not, you are ignored. Salaried employees are expected to work constant overtime with no respect for work life balance. It feels like you have to sell your soul just to keep up. People are unhappy and morale is very low across the company. Lakeshore used to feel like a family, but now employees feel replaceable and unheard. I recommend thinking carefully before joining unless real changes are made.
